Notary Public Fees

The State of California has determined the fees for Notary Services as $15.00 per signature notarized. US Mobile Notary adheres to these regulations.

*Please note if you are hiring a mobile notary public, you are paying an additional fee for the convenience of mobile service to your location. This fee can change based on distance and time of day. If you require service during peak traffic times or after 7:00pm, the travel fee is increased between $10 and $50 depending on the hour.

General Fees:

A Travel/Mobile Service fee will be added to the notarization fee as follows:

  • Airport Emergency Notarization: $75.00 travel + $15.00 per document per signature
  • Before 8:00 a.m. and after 8:00 p.m. $45.00 travel fee (based on distance)+ standard Notary Fee(s)
  • Local Jails – 2 hours allotted: $150.00 (must be prepaid prior to travel to the facility)
  • Excessive Waiting Times: $50.00 per hour after the first 20 minutes

  • In office (lender or escrow) Loan Signing: $110.00
  • Local Mobile Notary to client home $150.00 (documents were FedEx’d directly to borrower)
  • Refinance $175.00
  • E-Doc’s additional $25.00
  • Faxbacks additional $25.00
  • Reverse Mortgage $ 250.00
  • Courier services: varies according to mileage
  • Faxbacks: $25.00
  • Printing: $0.75 per page
  • Notary Signing Cancellation Fee: $50.00 *(if 24 hour notice not given)
